After earning their Doctor of Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX & Bachelor’s of Athletic Medicine at University of Texas San Antonio, Dr. Bri moved to Seattle where she founded Empower Physiotherapy in 2019 to provide much-needed affirming care to the LGBTQIA2S+ community with their training in orthopedics & pelvic floor physical therapy.

Since then, Dr. Bri has become an international educator to other healthcare providers, sharing her expertise in caring for gender & sexual minorities. On a mission to get a barbell in every person’s hands, they also enjoy working with athletes & combating misinformation about incontinence on the platform.

As a genderqueer femme and proud dyke, Dr. Bri is active in Seattle’s often-overlapping LGBTQ, poly, and kinky communities. Outside of the clinic, you’ll probably run into her lifting heavy at the gym, playing board games, watching stand-up comedy, or at burlesque shows (in the audience and sometimes on stage!).
